Summer is in full swing and I wish you a very safe and happy 4th of July this week! I’ve been enjoying some special dates with my favorite people including a day and night at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. https://beachboardwalk.com/
My son, Lucas, and I went to pick up my daughter from UC Santa Cruz lacrosse camp a day early so he could drag me around the Boardwalk calling all the shots. His unlimited ride bracelet was used thoroughly and you might not know that after 5PM with a plastic Coke product (even Aquafina water) bottle the ride bracelet is only $14.95. You can also purchase an attraction bracelet to play unlimited miniature golf, laser tag, and use the climbing wall for only $10. Each attraction alone is $6. Our favorite Boardwalk foods are the teriyaki rice bowls and fried zucchini. It wouldn’t be a trip to Santa Cruz without one of Mariani’s caramel apples. 7.5 hours later we were ready for bed, but since I usually am a solo parent on this trip we drive 15 minutes from the Boardwalk to stay in safer, cleaner, quieter, Scotts Valley. http://www.guestreservations.com/best-western-plus-inn-scotts-valley/booking?msclkid=35ac1a882d371624863a41b0c9b032a8
