Kubb: Lawn Game Recommendation & Requesting Your Recommendation

I hope everyone is staying cool, entertained and enjoyed last night’s dramatic change in weather.

This summer, my family has been enjoying Kubb, pronounced “KOOB”. Kubb is a Swedish lawn game that can be played by people of all ages, learned quickly and plays at a perfect pace for relaxing and socializing. Easy to carry and set up, we’ve played it everywhere from our front lawn, Balboa Park in San Diego, the beach and Napa Valley Country Club. How to Play: Knock over wooden blocks by throwing wooden batons at them. "Kubbs" are placed at both ends of the pitch, and the "king", a larger wooden block, is placed in the middle of the pitch. The ultimate objective of the game is to knock over the "kubbs" on the opposing side of the pitch, and then to knock over the "king", before the opponent does. Once the opposing team knocks down a kubb, you must toss it to the other side and knock those down before you can knock down your own kubbs. Games can last from five minutes to well over an hour. https://www.amazon.com/Yard-Games-Kubb-Game-Premium/dp/B0089E5Z7C

I hope you enjoy this game recommendation. I’d love to hear about your favorite game this summer!

This week I received two wonderful recommendations. One from a past client and the other from someone who attended one of my open houses. Both knew people who needed help buying a house in Napa. The highest compliment I can receive are your referrals. If you know anyone who is thinking about buying or selling please connect us so I can guide them even through the earliest part of the process.

Thank you!
