Helping Others- SOLD!

My children were able to experience the joy of helping others in two big ways this week. First, they helped me in purchasing “welcome to your new home” gifts for the children in the Cantera family and were there to greet them as they received their keys. We could hear their delighted cheers and giggles as we got into our car to leave them to enjoy their first moments in their new home as a family. We had a real feeling of purpose knowing our efforts helped this family find their home here in Napa.

Earlier in the week, my daughter hosted a babysitting night to raise money for American Cancer Society. My son, hosted a bake sale with his award winning fair desserts. In just 3 hours, together they raised about $300 for American Cancer Society! They both really believe no matter how young you are, you can make a difference in the lives of others. A great message to live out at the end of our summer!
