Apple Hill is in Placerville and Camino about 1 hour towards S. Lake Tahoe from Sacramento. A map of over 100 apple farms/bakeries/breweries/pumpkin patches can be found at
We recommend Boa Vista Farms early as the lines get LONG! But, we found these were our favorite donuts, apple fritters and cider. Hard cider for those of you up for starting your day out strong.
You will want to check out High Hill Farms for their caramel apples and don't miss the apple shakes!
Hidden Star is less crowded and a more relaxing place to hang out. They have fancier pastries and are close to our lunch spot which was Jack Russell Brewery.
We headed back to Sacramento to hit up our favorite boutique, Identity and couldn't pass up Insomnia cookies at the Golden 1 Center, home of the NBA Kings.
If you decide to make an overnight trip of it, I suggest the Embassy Suites which is walking distance to the Capitol, Golden 1 and Old Town.
Growing up in Napa I learned the value of community. I strive to serve the neighborhoods that I grew up in and the people who desire to make Napa their home. I help people connect to the community of Napa with a focus on continuing to build the unique community of Napa and my belief that home is where your story begins.
